RALEIGH, NC- Jasmine Whitehurst led four Lady Viking double figure scorers as Elizabeth City State University defeated Saint Augustine’s College 63-58 Thursday evening at Emery Gymnasium.

The Lady Viking victory gives the Lady Falcons their first CIAA setback of the season. Saint Augustine’s, who got game highs of 22 points and 13 rebounds from Keyona Bryant, falls to 10-6 on the year with a 5-1 mark in conference play.

For ECSU, Whitehurst finished with a team high 17 points while Wykeemia Gray collected her second double-double of the season with 15 points and 10 rebounds. DeAudra Brown and Stephanie Harper both finished with 11 points.
