Raymond Williams Named Honorable Mention All-America Sherri Fillingham 06/07/10 (Raleigh, NC) – Shaw running back Raymond Williams has been named Honorable Mention Preseason All-American by Consensus Draft Services. Williams (6-0, 190, Cleveland, OH), a senior this season, led the CIAA with 12 touchdowns in 2009, and was second in the conference in total scoring. He had 1,233 all-purpose yards on the season, and was a member of the 2009 All-CIAA First Team. This past season, Williams ran his way into the Shaw record book, breaking two career records: yards rushing and rushes for touchdowns. He stands 20 rushing attempts shy of breaking that career record. Shaw opens its 2010 season against Virginia Union on September 4.
