Bowie State Tops ECSU For CIAA Women’s Bowling Title

(DURHAM, N.C. -- March 22, 2010) Third seed Bowie State downed defending champion and No. 2 seed Elizabeth City State 4-2 Monday to claim the league crown at the 2010 CIAA Women’s Bowling Championships at AMF University Lanes.

BOSSIER CITY, LA – With a 4-0 sweep of Prairie View A&M, top-seeded Alabama A&M was crowned the 2010 SWAC Women’s Bowling Champion on Sunday at Holiday Lanes.
 
2010 SWAC Bowling All-Conference Honors Announced

BOSSIER CITY, LA – Alabama A&M’s Addileen Pointer and Cynthia Veney earned top honors as the 2010 SWAC All-Conference Bowling teams were announced. Pointer was named SWAC Bowler of the Year, and Veney named Freshman of the Year.

 

 
UMES REGAINS TOP SPOT IN THE NATION - G. STAN BRADLEY
Lady Hawks earn number one ranking for the first time since the 2009 season.
 HACKENSACK, N.J.-It took 16 months, but the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) Women's Bowling Team has regained the number one ranking in the nation. The March poll of the National Tenpins Coaches Association (NTCA) featured a record breaking 21 members voting and eight of them cast the Lady Hawks as the first place team.
